It's 14 years in the making, but finally there are 8 contiguous miles of Cotton Belt Trail in Northeast Tarrant County. Some folks say linear trails could be a key to getting more North Texans to get out of their cars and try alternate commuting methods. Others aren't convinced. Either way, our ever-curious reporter Gordon Dickson decided to take a look at the new elements of the Cotton Belt trail himself, and found not only mobility, but natural beauty.
